Venezuelan airlines may charge in cryptocurrencies

Carlos Vargas, Superintendent of Cryptoactives and Related Venezuelan Activities (Supcaven), said Thursday that Venezuelan airlines were authorized to collect air tickets through the crypto currency Petro and other related.

“The airlines are authorized to collect national and international tickets in Petro and other cryptocurrencies,” the superintendent said from his Twitter account.

Also, Vargas stressed again that Venezuelan gasoline will be marketed on the border with Colombia through Petros.

“All Venezuelan fuel that is sold at the service stations located in the different points of the border of Venezuela with Colombia, will be charged in Petros”, detailed the superintendent.
