Firefox presented the redesign of its mobile application

The Mozilla group officially presented the new browser for Android, which comes with news aimed at improving privacy

Mozilla presented the redesign of its Firefox browser for Android that introduces new features focused on improving privacy, browsing speed and personalizing the users experience.

The makeover of this application begins with the search bar, with the new adjustment option that allows you to locate it at the top of the screen or at the bottom. It also allows you to organize the tabs by groups and customize them.

Security and privacy are aspects in which Mozilla usually focuses its work in the browser. Anti-crawling protection was improved in the Android version, to “surf the Internet as if no one was watching”. This improvement was established by default with the new redesign, although it can be modified in the configuration settings.

The Firefox engine was optimized to make it faster when loading pages, and it has support for the most popular extensions. It also includes modes to accompany the user’s mood, such as dark mode, light mode or private mode.

These new features are available in the latest version of Firefox for Android (v.79), which the company has started rolling out this week.
