Fintech Venezuela since its creation has bet on the training, integration and development of the Fintech ecosystem in Venezuela, an effort that after two (2) years of the hand of its founder Maria Elena Machado, managed to cross borders and have the support of important international organizations, the media, members of the association, sponsoring companies and the general public for the recently held First Latin American Fintech Marathon.
This online meeting from August 25 to 29 boosted Venezuelan technological entrepreneurship and showed our social sensitivity and our commitment to training the community, entrepreneurs, users and all those interested in this digital world. It was organized by the Venezuelan Sociedad Venezolana de Fintech y Nuevas Tecnologías, Fintech Venezuela, and sponsored by Bitfinance.News..
The Marathon represented great teamwork for more than four months, within the framework of the official launch of the “Training Chapter”, which will be led by Carmen Salvador, and the launch of a new technological structure, which will allow to offer Online training from Fintech Venezuela to any Spanish-speaking person developed by our co-founder and Chief Technology Officer José A. Schmucke.
“Without a doubt, this First Latin America Fintech Marathon has set the tone for the history of Fintech in our country, demonstrating once again what we are capable of doing as Venezuelans when we make up our minds, even in difficult moments,” said María Elena Machado.
The attendees or participants expressed congratulations, for the quality of the shared content, the professionalism of each speaker, the correctness of the topics, the social origin that started the initiative that is to raise funds for the “María de las Nieves” foundation that provides assistance to people with disabilities. But, above all, the efforts of the organizers to present relevant and innovative aspects in the field of entrepreneurship, innovation, digital transformation and financial technology.
The Venezuelan Society of Fintech and New Technologies is already preparing its next virtual meeting that will take place during the month of November and that will offer attendees a new point of view this time from the usability of these new technologies. The invitation is to be attentive to V-Tech, a technological showcase that will undoubtedly keep participants wanting for more.
