Dubai approves a telecommunications blockchain platform
The blockchain platform is a reality in Dubai. A telecommunications company in the United Arab Emirates received the official support of the government
The Du company, formerly known as Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company, EITC developed its Blockchain-Platform-as-a-Service (BPaas) with the aim of offering private blockchain hosting in the cloud.
The platform was approved by Smart Dubai, the government organization of the United Arab Emirates responsible for implementing the new technologies.
A fact of interest for those involved in the blockchain ecosystem is that the tool is compatible with ethereum and Hyperledger Fabric.
It should be remembered that Dubai was a pioneer in the adoption of blockchain technology and positioned itself as a world leader in providing new and better ways to implement it to make the ecosystem evolve.
The decision to approve the initiative by Smart Dubai aims to make Dubai the smartest and happiest city on Earth.
