The Nueva Esparta State Tourism Corporation (Corpotur) has organized the Bolsa de Turismo de Margarita from September 28 to 30, after an 18-year absence.
The event, which will take place at the Sambil Margarita Convention Center, seeks to reactivate the work tables on the island in economic, tourism and investment matters. It will have 99 speakers from the sector, all from the insular entity.
The president of Corpotur, Griselda Contreras, “assured that the resumption of this bag will not only benefit the tourism sector, but will also boost the economy of Nueva Esparta state.”
The executive highlighted that this year companies from the area of “car rentals, supplies for hotels, airlines, insurance, gastronomy, supermarkets, health, sports” will participate. This helps our state to have a boost in all areas that involve tourism and the economy.”
The island’s tour operators have invited those from the rest of the country to participate. An attendance of 2,000 people is expected among companies in the sector, visitors and tourists.
The Nueva Esparta Chamber of Commerce has given full support to #bmtgta, the hashtag with which it is identified on the X social network, and has produced audiovisual material to promote the event and invite the public and companies to participate:
