Huawei to install production factory in France

The company will create the first production line outside of China, after the European nation agreed that it would enter its market

The telecommunications giant Huawei announced the construction of the first antenna production factory for 5G telephone networks outside of China.

This establishment will be built in France, with an initial investment of approximately 200 million dollars and will also create 500 direct jobs.

The president of the company, Liang Hua, personally moved to France to make the formal presentation of the project

This is the first factory with these characteristics that the Shenzhen-based company will install outside of China. The location is not yet decided since it is in the selection phase. The calendar will depend on the French interlocutors and the conditions they propose to Huawei to host the factory. According to Liang, as soon as the decision is made, the construction will be carried out quickly.

Huawei wanted for long to reach the European market, because it did not complain about the company’s participation in its market.
