Blockchain Alliance Iberoamerica will present report on digital identity

The institution plans to present several reports this year, one will be on digital identity and another one on decentralized technologies

According to Alex Preukschat, node coordinator of Blockchain Spain, the Blockchain Iberoamerica Alliance started as a project about eight months ago but was officially launched at Labitconf 2018 in Santiago, Chile, last December.

This alliance is made up of the Bitcoin Argentina Foundation, Bitcoin Chile, Blockchain Colombia, Blockchain Panama, Bitcoin Monterrey and Blockchain Spain. The institution is dedicated to carrying out training and dissemination activities of blockchain ecosystems and decentralized technologies, in addition to research and data collection.

Alex Preukschat commented: “A study will be published, possibly in April, on decentralized digital identity initiatives in the Ibero-American region. It will be a complete review today”, and added: “It’s the next big project we have.”

In the same way, the manager emphasized that the visibility of the alliance in Spain and in other Latin American countries continues to be promoted. The dissemination initiatives continue to be carried out with the institution plans to present several reports this year, one will be on digital identity and another one on decentralized technologies.
