Bitpanda launches the world’s first real cryptocurrency index
The Exchange has just launched Bitpanda Crypto Index in three versions that include the main cryptocurrencies on the market
In order to offer greater ease and speed in the commercialization of cryptocurrencies, the main exchange Bitpanda has just announced the launch of Bitpanda Crypto Index (BCI); the world’s first real index of cryptocurrencies.
The tool aims to facilitate the cumbersome investment process of crypto clients. According to Bitpanda, the index is defined as “an easy and automated way to invest in the entire cryptocurrency market.”
Spokesmen for the platform indicated that users have the possibility to choose 5, 10 or 25 currencies, which are presented in order according to their “market capitalization on which to operate.”
Bitpanda has the collaboration of its partner MVIS, which is responsible for the monthly collection of the assets data that are selected and each cryptocurrency generates an index.
It is important to note that digital assets are fully backed by real assets, which provides confidence to investors. On the other hand, the BCI “offers a simple way to have a varied portfolio and with maintenance of zero cost in the long term. Bitpanda’s variable indices maintain the investment made to try to minimize losses, if they occur.”
