Binance will tour Africa to talk about cryptocurrencies

The cryptocurrency exchange will hold the Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Awareness Tour (BCAT) in Africa on June 4

Binance, faced with the growing increase in the volume of cryptocurrencies that was observed between 2020 and 2021, has been in a mass information campaign on this topic in the African community.

Mainly, university students from the southeast of Nigeria have been the ones who have shown the most interest in this sector.

To add value to this process, Binance will hold the Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Awareness Tour (BCAT) in June. Specifically, it is planned that the event will take place on the 4th of this month.

Despite being the world’s smallest crypto economy in terms of market penetration, Africa is embracing digital assets at a faster rate as locals seek alternatives to weak financial infrastructure and a lack of payment ramps.

The Binance event also aims to fill the expectations of a common space for conversation about cryptocurrencies, especially in a place where central banks have restricted the use of digital assets.
