The Institute of Banking and Finance was created in the kingdom of Bahrain in 1981 through the approval of the specific council for vocational training. The studies center is a semi-public, non-profit, non-registered entity that offers training in the financial sector.
The Blockchain Academy marks the first offer in the country for professional rating programs for distributed channels. The training project is designed to prepare the participants to obtain the international qualification of Certified Blockchain Professional.
The certification comprises three areas of competence in blockchain technology: development, implementation and strategy.
The Director of the BIBF, Ahmed Al Shaikh, says that it seeks to support the growing demand for qualified professionals in the issues related to technology.
The Bahraini government emphasized the importance of the blockchain for the country’s economy and also called for surveillance of cybersecurity.
