Facebook seeks to expand its blockchain area

The social network is looking for a head for Commercial Development and Associations that meets the requirements to encourage the use of this technology

This Friday the social network Facebook announced that it is looking for personnel for its blockchain area, specifically in its headquarters located in Silicon Valley.

Specifically, the company is looking forward to someone who is capable of “leading, growing and mentoring a global team of professionals experienced in business development“, for the head of Commercial Development and Associations.

Among the plans of Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, is to use a technology capable of decentralizing power, something that the blockchain allows thanks to its ability to track virtually any type of digital transaction.

The person who occupies this job will lend all their collaboration to develop strategies and “investments while also negotiating and closing agreements”.

Since 2014, the social network has sought to venture into different markets with the acquisition of different platforms such as WhatsApp and Instagram, as well as the development of its own Oculus virtual reality network.
