ESET presents new versions of security products
Releases update protection in ESET Internet Security, ESET NOD32 Antivirus and ESET Smart Security Premium
Slovakia-based IT security company ESET has released new versions of products with a wide range of security enhancements.
Product updates cover malware detection, online banking, password security and smart home support, in line with ESET’s goal of creating a more secure digital world for everyone to enjoy.
Additionally, the releases address key issues, including online payments and banking-related threats, identity theft and personal information leakage, stolen passwords, and the security of connected devices.
Among other key updates, the project involves a new Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) and system registry scanners capable of detecting malware that uses WMI or the registry maliciously.
As for the Password Manager, ESET has restructured its functionality with a remote logout from websites and remote deletion of browser history. The service will be available through browser extensions and native mobile applications.
