Nintendo to release five games for the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros

The launches will begin on September 18 this year and will culminate in February 2021

Fans of Super Mario Bros will soon enjoy five new games in this series. The announcement was made by Nintendo to celebrate 35 years of its leading product.

The Japanese company recently presented the new products, scheduled for the next months of 2020 and early 2021. Most of these are reissues of old games that will go on sale for the Nintendo Switch console.

The well-known Italian plumber, Mario Bros, will return to bring his adventures to video game consoles from this month, as the first of the five games is Super Mario 3D All-Stars, with a release date scheduled for September 18. “It will bring together three iconic adventures of this character in three dimensions: Super Mario 64 (1996), Super Mario Sunshine (2002) and Super Mario Galaxy (2007). The delivery will arrive with the optimized resolution.

For October, specifically the 1st and 16th of that month, the releases of Super Mario Bros. 35 and Mario Kart: Home Circuit are scheduled. The first recalls the character’s first adventure but with a confrontation between 35 players and can only be played until March 31, 2021. The second title is “a new installment in the Super Mario racing game series that will use augmented reality technology and kart-shaped toys to turn the real environment into a virtual track. The idea is very ingenious and will allow players to trace a circuit anywhere imaginable.”

Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros is the fourth game, which will not be for Nintendo Switch, but a copy of one of the Game Watch pocket machine launched by the company in 1980. Its launch is scheduled for November 13.

Finalemtne, the fifth game scheduled to be released on February 12, 2021 is titled Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. It will be an update of the adventure released on Wii U in 2013 and will include new levels.
