Coinbase is now the principal Visa member
The cryptocurrency company announced that it became the first company in this branch to be confirmed as a leading member of the credit card service provider
The Coinbase company confirmed through its blog that it was added as the main member of the Visa company.
As indicated in the communiqué, the cryptocurrency exchange ensures that “Visa membership will allow us to further improve the customer experience, which facilitates the cost of cryptocurrency in everyday situations.”
The relationship between these two companies began in 2019 with the launch of the Coinbase Card in the United Kingdom.
“More than half of the customers who have registered on the Coinbase Card use it regularly, with a peak use in the United Kingdom, closely followed by Italy, Spain and France”, reveals the blog.
This membership will allow Coinbase to “offer more features for Coinbase Card customers; from additional services to support in more markets: all the elements that will help to evolve and enrich the cryptocurrency payment experience.”
