Bitlem will create the first crypto bank in Latin America

The initiative advances in the issuance of a debit card, which will allow payments with cryptocurrencies in thousands of stores in more than 130 countries around the world

Through a statement, Bitlem, the first exchange house that offers services for the purchase and sale of cryptocurrencies at its physical branch in Mexico, informed that they will launch the project to create the “first physical bank crypto“, with the objective of connecting blockchain technology with traditional banking.

Bitlem’s crypto bank initiative advances in the issuance of a debit card, physical or virtual, that will allow payments with cryptocurrencies in thousands of stores in more than 130 countries around the world, without hidden conversion rates.

In addition, it will offer the possibility of making transactions from the phone through the Bitlem wallet, being able to receive, store, convert, spend and transfer both fiduciary and cryptographic money, with the security offered by the block chain. The network will also include the use of cryptocurrencies backed by fiat money, with proof of reservations digitally signed by a central government bank.

Although the services related to Blockchain are difficult to use for the general public, Bitlem will create a network of agents and associates, with physical presence all over the world, which will make it possible to send remittances on a large scale, thus contributing to that unbanked people enjoy the advantages of the block chain.

An ambitious project that experts say will become an important reference for the development of this type of technology worldwide.
