Microsoft tests Outlook integration with Gmail and Google Calendar

The technology company wants to integrate Gmail, Drive and Google Calendar into its web version

The Microsoft Outlook email service began testing on its website the possibility of adding and using other services developed by Google among which are Gmail, Google Drive and Google Calendar.

As Outlook users have warned through social networks and also refers The Verge, Microsoft is currently testing a new feature among a small number of accounts that allows the user to link their Google account from Outlook.

This function requires a simple configuration process to synchronize the Google account, and allows services such as Gmail, Google Drive and Google Calendar to be automatically displayed directly from the Outlook website.

The new Outlook website uses a design similar to the service for iOS and Android, with two inboxes and parallel integration in the calendar of both platforms. For its part, the Drive integration allows them to incorporate documents and quickly attach them to emails in Gmail or in Outlook.
