Microsoft Edge offers business features to users

The Redmond company announced that it enabled enterprise features by default in the development versions of its browser based on Chromium, Edge

Microsoft decided to give another direction to the browser Edge forming its core with the open source of Chromium in order to add improvements at the level of performance and privacy.

A few months ago, Microsoft introduced an Internet Explorer mode that allows old websites to run within this new browser. Now, as part of the innovation, the firm enabled the business features which will open a range of options to business users.

The amendments will allow the customer to visit any application without having to change browser, and it will enable administrators to create a list of sites that can change the legacy mode automatically.

The new version will include support Group Policy, improvements to security level, display PDF at the enterprise level and other specifications that will arrive during the month, as an integrated people search, a page tabs intended for business links Office 365 and secure data synchronization.

The changes represent just the beginning of the enormous commitment that the company maintains in making Microsoft Edge position itself as the best browser for companies on all platforms.
