Samsung launches new app store for Galaxy users

Bixby Marketplace becomes the new exclusive app store for Bixby and Samsung Galaxy users

Through the store users will be able to access the Bixby capsules, which will give the virtual assistant easy access to some Bixby features. It is a tool similar to those found in the Amazon store of Alexa.

Samsung joins the trend of Google and Amazon and presents this exclusive application store for Bixby. Without a doubt, the brand wanted to go a little further and develop an intuitive and organic store.

To access the application users must select the button dedicated to Bixby on the Samsung device or simply move to the left on the main screen of the computer.

On the other hand, the Bixby capsules will work as direct accesses, as the source informs that these will have a specific function and will allow to increase the qualities of the Samsung assistant. Among the capsules that can be chosen are: Yelp, Spotify, Gmail, Google Play Store, iHeartRadio and Google Maps and some others related to travel app.

The new store is now available in the latest Bixby update and to download it you just have to go to the Bixby Voice Settings section, then About Bixby Voice and finally Update. Bixby Marketplace is now available to users in the United States and Korea.
