Google will incorporate camera in smart watches
The company is working on the design of a device that incorporates this tool under the screen
Google works on the design of a smart watch that stands out for including among its elements a camera, located in the same center of the screen and under it, and of which no further details are known.
This camera design on the smart watch is collected in a patent registered at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where it is described as “an ornamental design for a watch camera”.
The design, first seen in LetsGoDigital, shows a smart watch with a round screen. In the center of it, a circle of a certain dimension that would include the camera is distinguished. According to the images, it would be a camera under the screen, since it does not seem to stand out in the side view and in the upper one it shows lines that simulate the reflection on the glass.
Patents suggest that Google could put a camera under the screen or within a screen cutout, similar to what was recently seen on Samsung smartphones. The patent itself is titled “Camera Watch”, which makes it quite clear what Google has in mind.
