Apple got the licence for an iPhone with Face ID and Touch ID
Apple introduced the iPhone X last year and a map of its future device, according to which none of its cell phones would have fingerprint recognition
According to what was published in patents that were made public recently and that were released by Patently Apple, the company has the license to use both systems, Face ID and Touch ID, on the same device.
The controversy is that in none of the cell phones presented this year there is a Touch ID reader, everything is entrusted to facial recognition by Face ID points.
The document raises the idea of an Apple Watch with facial recognition by points, something that is currently impossible since the hardware does not have any type of camera or sensor of that kind.
It is unlikely that the next Iphone has a fingerprint reader. Companies patent many things that end up unused and this is surely the destination of this form. At Apple they are very happy with Face ID and its operation.
