Huawei will launch Android 9, aka EMUI 9
The telephone company will launch Android 9 to update its overlay, nicknamed EMUI 9. The launch is expected for next November 10
Huawei had the idea of synchronizing their version numbers with those of Google to resolve the confusion surrounding the Android version on which the EMUI overlay is based. In addition to numbering, the company has followed the guidelines for the aesthetics of Android 9. It also will adopt a more minimalist design, at least visually, and will use many natural sound effects.
The team will use artificial intelligence to make the user interface faster and easier. Similarly, GPU Turbo 2.0 makes it possible to extend the limits of the chip in extreme scenarios to drive the optimization of mobile games.
EMUI 9.0 has a new security box for passwords, encrypting them with facial recognition or fingerprints for various services, which makes the device more secure.
For its part, a new control panel allows users to track the configuration of use of the device and set the user fee for each application. Other features include new navigation gestures, multiple backup options, one-hand controls and enhanced features.
The implementation of Android 9 is guaranteed, until now, only for Chinese models. It is still unknown when it will arrive in France or other countries.
