Russia will use blockchain in nuclear energy
The state Rosatom intends to apply the use of this technology, said the head of the department Evgeniy Abakumov
The Russian state company Rosatom, dedicated to work with nuclear energy, indicated that it intends to apply the use of blockchain technology.
This was stated by the head of the technology department, Evgeniy Abakumov, who explained that the firm is focusing its efforts on the adoption of the blockchain.
“We are committed to integrating 4.0 technologies on a broader scale: IoT, AI, blockchain and others that will help increase the efficiency of the manufacturing process”, said a company statement.
For several months, Russia has been showing a better stance towards the blockchain and the cryptocurrencies, as well as distributed ledger technology.
Last month some representatives of the state Duma agreed to draft a bill that would cover cryptocurrencies and blockchain developments.
