Gamers help Unicef by collecting cryptocurrencies

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) announced that it would open an innovative fund-raising program, in cryptocurrency format, to help children who have been affected by conflicts in Syria.

Through the organization’s Twitter account they noted that “we launched GAME CHAINGERS, the first fundraiser through a cryptocurrency for the benefit of Syrian children.”

The name of this proposal is Game Chaingers and its operation will be with the help of the gamer community, who will have to use their video cards to mine cryptocurrencies.

The software is based on the mechanism used by the Ethereum network and will have a minimum cost for users.
