X officially announces the change of TweetDeck to the new version

The social network formerly known as Twitter brought its platform to an exclusive version for premium subscribers

X (Twitter) officially launched the new version of TweetDeck, which changes to X Pro as an exclusive service for users subscribing to X Premium (Twitter Blue), which can be accessed through a button on the side menu of the version social network website.

Elon Musk’s platform had already begun to implement the new version of TweetDeck this week, when it began to require a subscription to Twitter Blue in order to access the service, as some users could verify.

Now, the social network announced through a publication on the official X Pro profile that X Premium subscribers can now access the new version of the TweetDeck service.

In other words, X (Twitter) definitively launched X Pro, leaving behind the previous version and turning the service into an exclusive tool for subscriber users. Now, to access this service, users can do it from the X Pro icon located in the side menu, in the web version of the social network.

As the platform detailed, with the new version users will be able to continue organizing their columns “in separate workspaces” and will have a post composer, which will allow sharing threads, surveys and other functions.

TweetDeck was acquired by Twitter in 2011 and has always been shown as a free tool for users. Now, those who wish to continue using it must pay for a subscription to X Premium (Twitter Blue).
