WhatsApp will allow to assign conversations

WhatsApp is developing a feature that will allow companies to assign conversations to specific linked devices with the aim of offering new management alternatives for organizations.

Specialized media had anticipated that the company was working on implementing the function in its application for companies, which included a new design and a subscription plan to expand the number of devices that can be used in the same account.

Then, the portal indicated that this multi-device mode, which supports up to four devices connected to the account, could be extended to ten devices with a subscription that was under development for WhatsApp Business.

In this sense, the company has a new functionality under development, which will be free and exclusive for all business accounts.

This will allow you to select conversations and associate them with a specific device linked to the company’s WhatsApp account. In this way, if an organization takes advantage of the multi-device function, it will be able to individually manage the communications that are made from each smartphone.

As indicated by several websites, through a screenshot, the application will notify users to inform them that the new feature is available in their business account.
