Venezuela works on a new space satellite
President Nicolás Maduro reported that the Government is building a device aimed at improving communications in the country
The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported that his cabinet is working on the development of a new satellite aimed at improving communications in the country.
This was reported by the national president, from the Bolivarian Agency for Space Activities (ABAE), who added that “all parts and pieces of the country’s telecommunications system must be guaranteed.
Meanwhile, he also added that the National Government finances scientific and technological research in prioritized areas. Likewise, Maduro highlighted the need to articulate science and technology “directly with reality, with health, with agricultural producers”, he ordered.
Finally, the Venezuelan president also asked the team of scientists present for permanent early warning reports and recommendations resulting from the work of ABAE scientists.
