Uber gives users greater visibility with their new app

The new application promoted by this American technology company will provide through an interface the different services on a single screen

The American company Uber, which provides customers in the international field of transport vehicles with driver, presented its visionary strategy for the next generation of its application recently, which offers “a new way to discover, access and experience the growing number of services available on the platform”, as reported by Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Uber.

Among the options offered by the new operating system, users will have access to the home page and request a trip or meal and also place an order through Uber East. This innovative tool facilitates strengthen customers comfort by bringing the service to their hands. The service is already being tested in hundreds of cities in the United States as well as other countries.

Khosrowshahi said: “We know that becoming part of people’s lives carries a great responsibility. For this reason, we are working to ensure that each user receives extraordinary treatment, that each driver or deliveryman feels valued and that each city sees us as a long-term partner.”

The functionalities of the new Uber application stand out for the importance of providing security to users. It can be mentioned: the verification of your trip, making sure you take the right car by receiving a four-digit PIN to maintain contact with the driver; incident report during the journey, within the security tool you will have the option to “report security incident”; safety button with the traveler or driver can send a message directly to 112 in case of emergency.

And as a novel fact, the system offers reward opportunities for drivers through Uber Pro including as discounts on online courses and their expenses related to driving. “Two million drivers are part of Uber Pro and everything indicates that they will be more than 3.5 million at the end of the year. We are also happy to be able to take Uber Pro to new countries that include the United Kingdom, Brazil or Argentina,” added the Uber CEO.
