Trump could be subjected to political trial

This was stated by the president of the House of Representatives of the United States, Nancy Pelosi, who indicated that the US president will be investigated

The president of the House of Representatives of the United States, Nancy Pelosi, announced on Tuesday that the agency will open a formal investigation to determine whether the president, Donald Trump, should be subjected to a political trial.

“The president must be held accountable. No one is above the law,” Pelosi said, according to words collected by CNN.

The House of Representatives, where the Democrats have a majority, will analyze whether Trump tried to get help from the Ukrainian authorities in a case against Joe Biden, a favorite among the ranks of the Democratic Party for the 2020 presidential.

Trump gave his response immediately after the announcement and lamented that “on such an important day at the United Nations, with so much work and so much success, the Democrats have to ruin it on purpose with more breaking news about the stupid witch hunt.”

“They have not even seen the transcript of the conversation (which he had with the President of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski). A total witch hunt,” he said via Twitter. “Presidential harassment.”
