Token Travala joins the Swipe and Visa service

The crypto platform will allow its use in 60 million merchants on a global scale

Aiming to increase the usability of cryptocurrencies, blockchain-based travel booking platforms Travala and Swipe have announced the new addition of Travala’s native token, AVA, which will be added to the Swipe wallet service and to the Visa card platform, as both companies reported in a statement.

The service will be allowed for 60 million businesses globally and available to the 500,000 users attached to Swipe’s digital wallet. In addition AVA will have the support of Samsung Pay, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

The news was announced after the major company, Binance, reported on the acquisition of Swipe for ecosystem benefits and on the commercial platform’s issuance of a crypto debit card powered by Swipe. Travala.com, meanwhile, migrated to Binance Chain in the fall of last year.

Travala customers will be able to pay with their AVA token and they will even have a wide list of compatible crypto assets on the platform such as: Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Dash (DASH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC ), EOS, Stellar (XLM), Cardano (ADA), Binance Chain (BNB), Monero (XMR), Tron (TRX), XRP and Dai (DAI).

As customers use their Swipe Visa debit card, cryptocurrencies like AVA are instantly converted into fiat currency, making them usable anywhere that accepts Visa or mobile payment services.
