The US will celebrate Venezuela Day with different local personalities

This November 30, the US government will meet with Leonardo Padrón, Mariaca Semprún, among others

Under the direction of President Joe Biden, the United States government has proclaimed November 30 as “Venezuela Day” in an emotional gesture of recognition towards the significant population of Venezuelan migrants residing in the country. The White House extended a cordial invitation to 80 prominent Venezuelans to participate in a commemorative event.

The renowned sports journalist Mary Montes shared the news of her invitation through her account on the social network Mariaca Semprún, and the prominent producer and vice president of Disney Channel, Leonardo Aranguibel.

This event acquires historical relevance by marking the first time that Venezuela Day is celebrated in the United States, underscoring the importance of this community in the North American nation. In previous years, similar events were held to honor other nations, cementing this occasion as a significant milestone in the bilateral relationship.
