Telegram exceeded 1 billion downloads on Google Play
Google recently updated this information where it shows the passage from 500 million to one billion installations
During this weekend, the Telegram messaging application surpassed 1,000 million installations only on Google’s official “software” platform for Android mobile devices, the Play Store.
The company updated the number of downloads of the Telegram page in the Play Store, which previously reported that it was more than 500 million and that since this weekend it collects that it exceeds 1 billion installations.
The exceeding of this threshold of facilities occurs a few days after the fall of Facebook services that affected its social network Instagram and WhatsApp, and lasted for several hours in the afternoon and night of October 4.
Just 24 hours after this crash, Telegram founder Pavel Durov said that Telegram had experienced a “record” growth with the arrival of 70 million new users in a single day.
