Petrobras requested liquidity from banks

The measure is taken in view of the current oil crisis, caused by the viral outbreak in the world

The Brazilian oil company Petrobras requested liquidity from the bank valued at 8,000 million dollars, due to the current situation in the world.

Faced with the crisis caused by the coronavirus, the oil company has taken the initiative to form a strategy capable of reinforcing its liquidity in the face of the collapse in oil prices.

On the other hand, the company detailed that other measures are being studied to be able to reinforce the cash flow, as well as the reduction of additional costs.

This announcement joins the one made by the company regarding the suspension of receipt of offers on its investments in logistics assets by the coronavirus.

The oil company thus allows all potential buyers to comply with the corresponding due diligence processes.
