Since its launch last month Paxos has issued 50 million dollars in tokens anchored to the US dollar
The vice president of marketing and communications of Paxos, Dorothy Jean Chang, announced that one month after the launch of the cryptoactive, 36 million dollars have been issued in exchange for the deposit of dollars. While the remaining 14 million have been earned in recent days.
On the other hand, Withum, an independent audit company that inspects Paxos dollar reserves on a monthly basis, published that the company has approximately 14 million dollars to back the same amount of coins issued.
After its launch, Paxos was announced as one of the first stablecoins to be approved by regulators, mainly the New York Department of Financial Services, which gave it the famous Bit License to operate in New York.
Finally, Paxos commented that the growth they have experienced is mainly due to the adoption by renowned exchange houses such as OKEx and Binance, which announced that they will add the cryptocurrency to their respective platforms.
