Exodus devices from HTC will serve to mine monero XMR

The Thai firm reported that the process can be done through an application called DeMiner

The mobile phone company HTC reported on April 10 that the Exodus devices will become the new blockchain phone of the Thai firm, an advance that will allow users to mine the Monero cryptocurrency (XMR).

The initiative arose after the close alliances between HTC and the mining chip design company ASIC, Midas Labs, which have been working together to consolidate a platform that allows users to make their movements through enabled mobile devices. for the service.

The application developed by chip design company ASIC is presumed to be available for download in the second quarter of 2020, as reported by the CryptoNinjas news portal.

According to HTC’s decentralized CEO Phil Chen, “the world of cryptocurrencies is threatened by hashrate dominance by giant mining pools. The most effective way to eliminate this problem is to make mining accessible to the masses via mobile.”

Chen further added, “this app makes smartphone mining profitable, providing incentives for individual miners and helping to decentralize the network. This is the first step and being able to extract Monero, a privacy-focused token, that fits very well with EXODUS ‘vision.”
