Vctrade starts receiving bitcoin, ethereum and ripple deposits
The Exchange Vctrade recently announced that it has begun receiving bitcoin (BTC), ethereum (ETH) and ripple (XRP) deposits
The exchange Vctrade is also interested in adding bitcoin cash deposits (BCH). In addition, it explained that cryptocurrency withdrawals will not be available until the end of January 2019 and will be limited to a hardware wallet.
The ability to use a specific wallet is to ensure the proper implementation of measures against money laundering and terrorist financing in the exchange.
It should be noted that VCTrade was launched in June this year by one of the SBI Group’s subsidiaries, SBI Virtual Currencies, and became the first cryptocurrency exchange house backed by the Japanese government.
SBI Holdings has a capital of more than 92 million yen and more than six thousand employees. In the last six months, the company registered more than 176 million yen in revenue. SBI Holdings and the technological startup Ripple formed an alliance in order to launch a blockchain-based application for customer payments.
Similarly, SB Holdings will be conducting tests to launch its own token, S Coin, as soon as possible.
