Although the date has not yet been announced, the EU-China bilateral summit is expected to take place in China in July
The EU-China bilateral summit could be held in China in the second half of July to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
This was stated by a spokesperson for the President of the European Council, António Acosta, when referring to the upcoming meeting of representatives from both regions.
The source stated: “We are coordinating with China to set a date for the meeting, which is expected to take place in China in the second half of July.”
This summit will follow the EU-Japan summit, which will be held in that country, and about which several discussions are already underway.
