The selection of the members of the cabinet that will accompany Donald Trump in his mandate began with the appointment of Susie Wiles as general secretary of the White House and Tom Homan as head of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service.
Likewise, the president-elect of the United States named Mike Waltz as national security advisor and New York congresswoman Elise Stefanik as ambassador to the UN.
At the head of the Environmental Protection Agency will be the former representative of New York, Lee Zeldin. According to sources close to Trump, the president is considering Richard Farley, a Wall Street lawyer, as a possible SEC chairman, replacing Gary Gensler.
Other appointments include Pete Hegseth at the Department of Defense; John Ratcliffe at the Central Intelligence Agency, CIA, as well as Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy in the new Department of Government Efficiency, Latino Senator Marco Rubio as Secretary of State and Matt Gaetz, Congressman from Florida, as the country’s next Attorney General.
