YouTube issued an official statement informing subscribers of its Premium and Music services that it will be implementing a monthly price increase.

The new price for these services will be communicated to customers in advance. According to the statement, the company’s goal is to maintain service quality.

Regarding prices, they indicated that the individual YouTube Premium plan is $15.99 per month, the family plan is $26.99, and the student plan is $8.99. For YouTube Music, “the individual subscription will cost $11.99 per month and the family plan is $18.99.”

Notification of the price adjustment will be given at least 30 days in advance. The company explained that the increase “will be applied automatically when each payment cycle is renewed.”
