Podcasts will soon arrive at YouTube Music

Users of the YouTube Music mobile app in the United States will soon be able to enjoy the podcasts, according to information revealed this weekend.

The North American country will be the epicenter of this launch, which could soon be extended to other countries.

YouTube Music will enable a section directly within the app for both users (including the free plan) and creators. Podcasts can be played even with the screen off.

“Regarding the creators, it has been anticipated that they will be able to start uploading their audio podcasts, but podcasts as such, not as videos or videos without images, via RSS by the end of the year. While YouTube Studio will adapt to also serve the needs of these; that is, to create specific audio and video podcasts.”

YouTube Music seeks to offer a much friendlier and more comfortable environment for users and creators to share their performances successfully.
