US consumer spending on “Black Friday” reached a record $9.12 billion, representing an annual increase of 2.3 %, according to Adobe Analytics estimates.
Specifically, sales of electronic products were the main driver of growth, with an increase of 221 % compared to the average during the month of October, while the purchase of items for the smart home increased by 271 % and that of audio equipment 230 %.
