Banks will allocate monthly contributions to loans for Venezuelan entrepreneurs

Credimujer, recently created by Nicolás Maduro, will receive 15% of its monthly credit portfolio from Venezuelan banks, according to Sudeban order

Nicolás Maduro, president of Venezuela, recently announced the creation of the Great Venezuela Women Mission, which includes Credimujer, a financing mechanism for Venezuelan entrepreneurs who will receive 15 % of their monthly credit portfolio from the national bank.

Credimujer seeks to support the creativity of Venezuelan women, with innovative ideas and projects that deserve financial support from banks.

In this sense, it is appropriate to point out that on October 25, the Venezuelan Executive established through Presidential Decree number 4,874, published in the Official Gazette of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela No. 42,742 of that same date, “the incorporation into the “Single National Productive Portfolio, the productive sector developed by women through projects that require financing.”

The objective is the promotion and strengthening of national economic sovereignty, through an Economic Financial Plan to Support Women (Credimujer).

Maduro “appointed Maryuri Vardella as head of the CrediMujer program, to carry out the plan to provide financing to Venezuelan entrepreneurs,” according to the BancayNegocios portal.

For its part, the Superintendency of Banking Sector Institutions, Sudeban, published this November 1st the circular SIB-II-GGR-GNP-07108, through which it issued instructions to all “banking institutions in the country” on the guidelines for the granting of financing for special projects for women, related to the Credimujer plan.”
