Bancamiga brings its technological innovation to the LVBP

Leones subscribers will have a bracelet that operates with proximity technology and works as a means of offline payment. It will contain key information such as location, sector and seat

As part of the brand positioning strategy and support for professional and amateur sports, Bancamiga made a strategic alliance with the Leones del Caracas, with a view to the start of the 2023-2024 season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).

Starting with this campaign, subscribers of these teams will have an integral bracelet that works with close-up or contactless technology known as NFC (Near Field Communication).

By simply bringing the bracelet closer to the reading device, in the case of Lions, the subscriber’s data such as location, sector and seat can be displayed.

One of the advantages for Leones subscribers is that they can be recharged with cards from any bank, functioning as a means of offline payment, which will allow them to purchase food, drinks, snacks and souvenirs at any time during the game. In addition, each bracelet has an expiration date, which accentuates security, by not allowing entry to the game stadium outside the established period.

The Executive President of Bancamiga Banco Universal, Ariel José Martínez, said he was very excited about the alliance with a team with so much experience and triumphs in the LVBP, through which sports and the main pastime of Venezuelans are promoted.

Bancamiga provides more information, innovation, security and technology

“Bancamiga is an innovative bank and with these comprehensive bracelets we ratify the importance we give to information and security, based on technology,” he said.

The Commercial and Press Manager of Leones, Laury Castro, expressed that this alliance is very important for the team, because it is made with a bank that has innovation as one of its values, at a time when the current champions of the LVBP They debut a new venue such as the “Simón Bolívar” Monumental Stadium of Caracas.

“This comprehensive bracelet will speed up entry to the facilities and ease subscribers’ operations by allowing recharges and payments in stores. Our goal is to be champions this year, and we want to achieve it with the help of Bancamiga, with whom we have been working for two seasons,” he said.
