BBB will perform in concert to benefit Olimpiadas Especiales Venezuela

This concert will have the special participation of the renowned maraquera María José Castejón, who is also an ambassador for Olimpiadas Especiales Venezuela since 2020, and the choir of the Emil Friedman School, made up of primary school students.

Next Saturday, October 21, the “Songs of Memory” concert will be held in the auditorium of the Emil Friedman School by the Big Band Banana, to benefit the Olimpiadas Especiales Venezuela foundation. “Songs of Memory”, under the musical direction of maestro Pedro González, who is also president of the Venezuela Symphony Orchestra, will guide the Big Band Banana through different genres showing the versatility of the band with classics from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.

This concert will have the special participation of the renowned maraquera María José Castejón, who is also an ambassador for Olimpiadas Especiales Venezuela since 2020, and the Emil Friedman School choir made up of primary school students.

This concert is a great opportunity to share with a group of Special Olympics athletes who represented Venezuela in the last Special Olympics World Summer Games, in Berlin, Germany, in June of this year, bringing with them 38 medals. With this event, Special Olympics will honor and celebrate the achievements of these Creole athletes.
