Apple promises to innovate in the size of the iPhone by 2020

The US company studies the possibility of creating iPhones of 5.4 inches, 6.1 and 6.7 inches

The prominent hardware and software company Apple plans to impact the technology market with an innovation that, according to rumors, could break the trend set in the last two years.

Although it is still too early to outline the characteristics of the new device, it is known that the successor of iPhone 11 Pro is a 5.4-inch device but Apple also studies the possibility of launching another with a dimension of 6.1 inches and a larger one that reaches 6.7 inches, leaving behind the current iPhone 11 Pro Max.

According to the Korean news portal ETHNews, Samsung Display and LG Display will be the only suppliers of OLED technology sections for Apple in 2020 and if it is so – according to the first rumor leaks – the tech giant would be making a very important decision within the industry that is the launching of the largest iPhones of the entire technological range that the company sponsors.

It is presumed that this OLED technology will be used through Samsung’s 5.4 and 6.7 inch screens of the current iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max models.

For its part, LG will supply a panel of the same technology for the 6.1-inch model, thus eliminating the traditional LCD-type panels still present in some models such as the iPhone 11.
