The president of the Association of Air Lines in Venezuela (ALAV), Humberto Figuera, reported that from October 30 Iberia flights will resume with 3 weekly frequencies Caracas-Madrid

Humberto Figuera, Executive President of the Association of Air Lines in Venezuela (ALAV), recently announced that Venezuela will resume flights to Spain from next October 30 with the Iberia airline.

Figuera pointed out that from this date the Caracas-Madrid connection will resume with three weekly frequencies. He added that the flights of Plus Ultra, Air Europa and Conviasa airlines were also authorized, also with three flights a week, to reach 12 flights to Spain.

The executive president of ALAV highlighted that in addition to Spain “there are flights to European countries such as Turkey and Portugal, since the TAP airline “is flying twice a week.”

The executive showed confidence that Venezuela can resume the same pre-pandemic level of connectivity by the end of 2022.
