Whatsapp will allow you to listen to music in groups in real time

WhatsApp launched an innovative feature that allows users to enjoy music simultaneously during video calls via the shared screen

WhatsApp launched an innovative feature that allows users to enjoy music simultaneously during video calls via the shared screen. This exciting feature is already available for some beta testers on Android devices.

The shared screen option was added to Meta’s platform in August last year, allowing users to share videos or apps during video calls using the “Share” button on both desktop and mobile apps.

The company worked on a new enhancement to this feature, which allows users to share music experiences during a video call. WABetaInfo had anticipated this news in December, and has now discovered that WhatsApp has begun implementing it in the latest beta version for Android, 2.24.1.19, which is now available for download on the Google Play Store.

To enjoy this feature, you just need to start a call and select the split screen option. This way, the audio played on your device will be transmitted simultaneously to all participants in the call or to the caller in an individual chat.

WABetaInfo highlights that this feature allows attendees to synchronize their video and audio playback experiences, making it easy to create virtual sessions for group watching movies.

Although currently only available for beta testers, this exciting feature is expected to reach more Android device users in the coming weeks.
