AFIT develops tutorials on blockchain

The Air Force Institute of Technology of the United States (AFIT) launched an interactive application to publicize the benefits of the blockchain

The tool is proposed for professionals in supply chain management. Students can get access from any computer or smartphone.

Likewise, it is accompanied by tutorials that guide students through a blockchain simulation. That is, the videos become an independent classroom module; but they can also be incorporated into the classroom exercises.

The platform was developed in conjunction with the supply chain firm SecureMarking and the Beacom School of Business at the University of South Dakota. In it, the entire life cycle of a product or article is monitored, from its manufacture to its elimination.

Currently, the use of blockchain to manage the supply chain has become commonplace. Some experts argue that block technology will revolutionize the way people think about design and digital infrastructure for future supply chains.

For the US military, the blockchain can mean managing a highly complex logistics network and a digital ledger can be a solution to take on these challenges.
