An investigation carried out by Gold IRA magazine Guide also determined that 33% of people over 50 have no idea what cryptocurrencies are

A survey conducted by the Gold IRA Guide magazine states that at least 3% of retirees in the United States operate bitcoins.

On the other hand, the research determined that 33% of respondents have no idea what a cryptocurrency is.

This survey addressed more than 1,000 US retirees over the age of 50, who received all kinds of questions related to this type of investment.

According to the results of the survey, 56.7% knew bitcoin but were not interested in investing. About 3.5% said they would like to invest in bitcoins, but did not know how to start, while 4.5% of retirees expressed interest in investing in the cryptocurrency, but decided to monitor it instead of going ahead with the matter.

The research makes clear that millennials are more prone to the use of cryptocurrencies than older people. Previous studies have determined that at least 25% of this group already manages digital assets.
