Logitech G and Tencent develop portable console to play in the cloud
A new portable console to play in the cloud is the bet of Logitec G and Tencent Games
Logitech G, the ‘gaming’ division of the electronics manufacturer, and Tencent Games have announced that they are collaborating on the development of a new portable console to enjoy the Cloud Gaming experience.
In this collaboration announcement shared by Logitech, the company has indicated that this device, available later this year, “will combine Logitech G’s experience in ‘hardware’ with Tencent Games’ experience in ‘software’ services”.
In this way, this new portable console will support “multiple cloud gaming services”, since Logitech G and Tencent are working with the Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce Now teams so that gamers can access these titles without the need to be connected to a console or a PC.
In this writing, Logitech assures that both companies share a mutual vision of the future of games and that they are committed to ensuring that the quality of the experience is combined “seamlessly” with ‘gaming’ services in the cloud.
At the moment, no further details have been released about the device, neither its appearance nor the components that it will integrate, the manufacturer has made a link available to users so that those interested can subscribe to the latest updates on the console development process.
