Domestic flights to Margarita, Valencia and Maracaibo resume

The Venezuelan Air Lines Association confirmed this Sunday the measure by the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics as of November 30

The president of the Association of Air Lines of Venezuela (Alav), Humberto Figuera, reported this Sunday that the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (Inac) authorized direct flights from some national airports to the island of Margarita, Valencia and Maracaibo from Monday, November 30 and until December 6.

Let us remember that on November 11, the aeronautical agency held meetings with the different airlines to resume flights under strict biosecurity measures to specific destinations, maintaining the closure of commercial activities until 2021.

Humberto Figuera, who confirmed on Twitter the resumption of air operations to Porlamar, indicated: “The reopening of flights to Margarita is good news.”

Through an audio Figuera pointed out that the authorized flights will only include the routes between Porlamar and the airports of Maiquetía, Maracaibo and Valencia.

INAC, for its part, has exhorted the authorized airlines to take the pertinent provisions and initiate the necessary procedures with the airports involved.
